So, after a long hiatus, a map!

This came from an idea of having two different Greek identities, one derived from the Byzantine Empire, and the other more Hellenic in origin. So, here we've got a surviving Eastern Roman Empire, or rather a resurgent Byzantine Empire post-1204, which takes land from Serbia and mainly Bulgaria, which struggles to survive on the lands north of the Danube, inhabited by (OTL) Romanians. Epirus is descended from the Despotate of Epirus, dislocated to Thessaly, being incorporated into a enlarged Albanian principality.

Well, I guess I may be posting some maps that I have hanging here alone, just to reanimate this whole account =D

Actually, they're Greeks. The Byzantine Empire was called R(h)omania by its citizens, who were Rhomaioi. Romanians, on that map, are the Vallachians.

I never knew the Byzantines also went by the Name Romanians, but for the last 2 thousand years they had been calling the region of the Valchs and Transylvanians had been called Romania ever since the Romans mixed with the ancient Dacians

Yeah, RL has a very effective way of postponing everything. I'm actually using the World Cup and the fact that it seems like holiday season here to catch up ;)
